Get Ready!!

I am really excited to get this group started, we have several people participating so it should be a very interactive blog. Just a few things to remember:

-Attend all of the Tuesday night meetings
-Post on the blog daily
-Take the products as directed
-Follow the instructions Charlie gives at each meeting

If you have not ordered your Cleanse products click here to order.

Here is what I want you to post everyday:

*Your daily assignment is to post what you eat everyday
*Post at the end of each what you ate or post at the beginning of the day what you "plan" to eat
*Post on the actual day that you ate, do not post Friday's food journal on Saturdays post
*Post on the weekends, it takes 5 minutes....do not be a slacker! It will hold you accountable!
*Here is an example of how to post:
Breakfast - 2 eggs, 1 raw bell pepper, 1/2 banana
Snack - Advocare Meal Replacement Shake
Lunch - 8 oz grilled chicken, 2 cups baby carrots, 1/2 avocado
Snack - Meal Replacement Shake
Dinner - 8 oz baked salmon, salad with 1 tbsp olive oil, 2 cups green beans

It is EXTREMELY important that you participate and post on this blog. You should also check it frequently and read the "comments" because you can see what others are posting and what questions they are asking. All questions will be answered on the blog. There will be a daily post at 5am, so you can start posting your journals or viewing others questions and comments. I hope you are all ready for this 24 Day journey, you will be the determination of your success. STAY INVOLVED with the group and ATTEND the meetings, it will make your likelihood of seeing the results you want go up tremendously!

*A sample Grocery list will be posted at 5pm today so you can use it to go shopping

Only I can change my life. No one can do it for me.

  1. I am doing this program to lose weight and to change my eating habits. My goal is to lose 15 pounds and complete the entire 24 days without cheating.

  2. I was very active all throughout high school (I played volleyball for 8 years), and after getting hurt my senior year my activity level definitely was not the same. I came into college 10 pounds lighter than I am now, and I want to get back down to that! I hope to lose weight, eat better, and not cheat for the next 24 days!

  8. How much will not having the herbal cleanse the first few days effect the over all outcome?

    ReplyDelete
  9. Keep them coming!

Elizabeth - it will not effect your program at all, we had several people that had to start a day or two later because they had products shipped to a different location and it took longer. I have a couple Herbal Cleanse boxes in stock, email me if you would like to come pick one up.

*Go ahead and order the catalyst, meal replacement shakes and spark today

  10. I am doing this to lose weight, once and for good. I am motivated by family. I have lost before, but need to change life, not weight. Good bye pizza pie, hello broccoli!

  12. I am doing this program in hopes to lose some weight, gain better eating habits, and to hopefully just gain a better feeling about the way I feel on a daily basis and about my health. I've been encouraged by so many people who have previously done the 24 day challenge with Charlie and am really challenging myself to stay focused and complete the program successfully.

  13. P.S. Charlie, what's the best way to prepare your sweet potatoes?

  16. Christina - Put them on a tray in the oven ( I put them on parchment paper), bake them at 450 degrees for about an hour. I am baking 6 right now and I'll probably leave them in 80-90 minutes. Check them periodically because they will explode, this is a sign that they are ready :-)

  17. My main reason for doing the program is to lose weight and feel better energy wise. 95% of the time I go non-stop and let's face it..the Starbucks doesn't get me very far.
My goal is to finish the program without cheating (with the exception of Saturday and Sunday - I'm running a race this weekend and there's a few things I will be eating that don't go with the cleanse part - I hope that's okay. I plan on going an extra two days to make up for the loss) and to hold my fellow challengers accountable.

  21. I certainly could lose 10-15 lbs but I really want to do this so I learn to eat more consistently (most days I eat one meal a day) and better. I always feel tired and that's probably because I don't eat properly and don't drink enough water. My goal is to learn to be kinder to my body and get into the lifelong habit of good healthy eating.

  22. I enjoy challenging myself with new and difficult things, and I would like to try and get a six pack (hope I'm not just dreaming on this one).

  27. My first challenge is going to be on the first day! I have to take a potential client to lunch tomorrow. How do you recommend you handle eating at a restaurant when you're truly healthy choices are probably limited?

  28. Nathalie - Great question, I just answered this on the post for today for Maria. You could go just about anywhere and order grilled chicken, lean beef, salmon and vegetables with no butter. The key to eating out is to tell the waitstaff NO BUTTER on everything! :-) Stick to the foods that are permitted and you will do just fine.
